サイクル最高！松本サイクリングフェスタ... Cycle Saikou (cycling is the best!) Matsumoto Cycling Festa went as scheduled on Sunday the 9th of May.  Shimin Times was there, and so was SBC television.  We didn't have a large crowd, but those who were there had a good time.  The traffic safety department of the city office provided a good safety lecture, they even brought a large puppet to attract interest.  We had games, which were fun, but a high point of the day was the BMX flatland riding demonstration by Uchino Yoshiki and Eichiro Watanabe.  Thank you fellows, you were a hit!

 Please, folks, get out on your bicycles while the weather is nice!  Get out, it's good for your health, good for your outlook, good for a better balance in your life.  Bicycles are fast, efficient, quiet, clean, inexpensive, convenient, save the environment, build up your health and stamina.  But please, please, give some thought to safety.  Please don't be the next casualty!  There is an excellent article on bicycle safety here.  Read it, take it to heart, and I will see you cycling around Matsumoto!
