International Cafe was FUN!  Quite a few people came, including many new faces.  Everyone got to sit, drink coffee and tea, eat snack, and talk with new friends.  It was at Matsmoto shimin katsudo support center, on the second floor above the tourist information office just south of the castle.  It seems like everybody had a good time.  Like we've done at pizza nights, we had a timer, and after 1/2 hour it would ring, and everyone would have to change places, to mingle with new people.  We would draw number cards from a bag, and then we would sit at the place corresponding to that number.  Good way to make sure eveybody mingles!

There were smiling faces, animated conversation, and somewhat of a reluctance to stop when we reached closing time.

We will be doing another International Cafe in June in conjunction with the MWing folks.  They will be inviting anyone interested in performing to perform, as they have a once-a-month free perfomance time, and in June it will be together with International Cafe.  They are hoping for musicians, jugglers, dancers, or anyone else who might have something to contribute to the atmospere.  It will be
